Qur’an Memorization (Hifz)
The Hifz Program at Sufuuf al-Khayr helps children carry the Qur’an with clarity, consistency, and joy. Through gentle teacher modeling (talqeen), small daily practice, and proven review cycles, learners memorize steadily and retain what they memorize. Tajweed is reinforced throughout so accuracy grows with confidence—never rushed, never overwhelming.
How is the Hifz Program Structured?
We combine one recorded lesson each week (modeling chunking, pacing, and review techniques) with one focused 1-on-1 live session (30 minutes) for correction, planning, and accountability. Parents receive simple checklists and audio loops so supporting 10–15 minutes/day at home is easy.
Method: Sabaq (new lesson) • Sabaqi (recent review) • Manzil (older review)
Format: 12-week courses; several terms per level to ensure durable retention
Accuracy First: Hifz is primarily 1-on-1 to protect precision and confidence
Materials: Uthmani-script mushaf, memorization trackers, printable review sheets, teacher audio
Placement: A short assessment sets the right starting point and weekly targets
Recommended cadence: 2×/week live sessions for Hifz (with short daily practice)
What makes this program unique?
Retention-first design: The sabaq/sabaqi/manzil system is baked into every week so memory sticks.
Tajweed within Hifz: Rules are applied during memorization for accuracy that lasts.
Meaning-aware chunking: Natural pause points and themes aid recall and protect understanding.
Parent-friendly routines: Clear trackers, tiny daily loops, and “what to listen for” notes.
Calm, sustainable pacing: Ambitious goals with a gentle tone that keeps motivation and love for the Qur’an at the center.
